To protect marine biodiversity and local blacktip reef sharks, swimming directly inside Maya Bay is currently prohibited by National Park regulations. However, visitors can walk along the pristine beach for photography. Snorkeling and swimming take place in nearby designated areas, such as Pileh Lagoon and Loh Samah Bay.

What happens if the weather causes high waves on tour day?
